Steve Cishek comes back strong and picks up a save

by David A Marcillo | Wed, Apr 29th 12:45am EDT

Miami Marlins closer Steve Cishek pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday, picking up a save against the New York Mets.

Fantasy Impact:

After blowing a one-run game in grand fashion on Monday, Cishek was able to save a one-run game the very next day. He walked one and struck out one, but more importantly, he was able to shake off his rough performance from the previous day's game. Cishek's velocity is still noticeably lower than it was last season, but he's a notoriously slow starter so it is certainly not time to panic just yet.
