Yermin Mercedes went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored during Thursday’s 5-2 win over the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Entering Thursday’s game, Mercedes was hitting .033 (1-for-30) in his last 10 games. He busted out his slump by logging two hits in Thursday’s win. It was his first multi-hit effort since May 27th. Mercedes has cooled off since his terrific start to the season but is worth rostering in all league formats. The Yerminator is slashing .295/.352/.450 with seven home runs, 31 RBI, and 21 runs scored across 219 plate appearances in 2021.
