Jim Johnson holds lead prior to loss to Nationals

by Roy Widrig | Wed, Apr 29th 8:09am EDT

Jim Johnson pitched a scoreless eighth inning Tuesday night, recording one strikeout and no hits or walks. It was Johnson's seventh hold of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Normally this would not be news-worthy, but what happened in the ninth makes it so. With a two-run lead in the ninth, Jason Grilli allowed two base runners before facing ex-Brave Dan Uggla, who hit a towering shot to take the lead. It was only Grilli's first blown save of 2015 - but the Braves bullpen has a chance to be a volatile place without Craig Kimbrel holding down the fort. Keep an eye on this situation.
