Denard Span goes 5-for-6 in win over Braves

The Washington Nationals came back from a 9-1 deficit to defeat the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, 13-12. Denard Span played a big role, going 5-for-6 with four runs scored. Span, who had been off to a slow start, is now hitting .314 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Span, who has played in only eight games this season, was hitting .207 prior to last night's game. Although not hitting for much power or drawing many walks, Span is making contact and getting on base at a .342 clip.
