Jeff Samardzija gets hit hard versus the Orioles

On Wednesday, Jeff Samardzija and the White Sox lost to the Orioles by the score of 8-2. In his fifth start of the year, Samardzjia gave up seven earned runs, 10 hits, walked one batter and struck out five batters in five innings pitched.
Fantasy Impact:
Samardzija was absolutely shelled. Making a judgement call on whether or not to start him in his next outing isn't going to be an easy one, but be prepared for the worst. All things considered though, his still only owns a 4.78 ERA and while that's nothing to brag about, it still goes to show fantasy owners how well he was pitching initially, so far this season before this painful outing. He's not a suggested start in his next outing, but if you're feeling brave, go for it.
