Russell Martin had a productive night at the plate Thursday, going 1-for-2 with two walks, an RBI, and a run scored in their 5-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians.
Fantasy Impact:
Martin has now hit safely in 10 of their last 12 games, increasing his average to .197 for the season. Since being dropped to the sixth spot in the order, Martin is slashing .276/.488/.690 with three home runs, eight RBI, and 10 runs scored. The move in the lineup has clearly made a difference for the Jays catcher, and has put fantasy owners at ease since his disastrous start to the season.
