Andre Ethier batted 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, an RBI, and two runs scored in Friday's victory over the Diamondbacks. He is now slashing an outstanding .327 / .424 / .653 this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ethier's resurgence after last year's poor offensive showing has been a big surprise for the Dodgers and fantasy owners, but Ethier will be hard to trust from a fantasy perspective once Yasiel Puig returns from injury in a week. Based on Don Mattingly's recent usage, it appears there may be a relatively even timeshare among Ethier, Alex Guerrero, and Scott Van Slyke in left field.
