Fielder was one of the few Rangers to solve the Athletics' pitching in Sunday's 7-1 loss, connecting for 2 base hits. He is now hitting a robust .358/.419/. .903 with 2 homers, 11 RBI and 0 stolen bases.
Fantasy Impact:
Fielder stuck to the script on Sunday, playing the part as The Rangers' best player just like he has done all season. It's hard to believe that he has done so well with the offense the way it is but he continues to swing a hot bat. He is in the midst of his best season in a long time and the team he plays for will drive down his perceived value on the trade market. This is the time to pursue him.
