Paul Goldschmidt nabs 1st career NL Player of the Week

Despite the Diamondbacks being swept for the second time in three series, Paul Goldschmidt has been putting on monster performances and earned NL Player of the Week honors. Goldschmidt has had multiple-hit games in five of his past six contests, going 15-for-27. He also stole two bases (with a third coming last Sunday), giving him five for the season, scored five runs and drove in seven. (mlb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Goldschmidt is carrying fantasy squads so far this season (and doing his best to try and carry the Diamondbacks). He is producing in all five standard categories and after a month or so of games is on pace to shatter all his previous career-highs.
