Teixeira was 16-for-56 with seven RBI against Wednesday's starter Mark Buehrle in his career, so a decent game could have been expected. Although this game broke Teixeira's two game home run streak, it was the second time in three games that Teixeira got on base twice. Teixeira is 7-for-21 with a double and an RBI against Thursday's starter for the Orioles, Chris Tillman and has a 1.004 OPS and eight of his 10 home runs against right-handed pitchers.
