Hunter Pence gets first AAA hit

Hunter Pence has started playing baseball again, a huge step in his rehab process. Pence is recovering from a broken bones in his hand, damage caused by a wild pitch in Spring Ball. (Rivercats Baseball on Twitter)

Pence was assigned to play with the Giants' AAA team, the Rivercats, in his recovery process. Pence registered his first hit since his injury, knocking the ball into left field for a single. This is a positive sign for Pence and the Giants, as he is a valuable member of this championship team. Look for Pence to return to the Giants' major league squad in a few weeks.
