Chase Utley goes 1-for-3 versus Diamondbacks

Chase Utley hit in the number six hole for the first time since 2005 on Friday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He went 1-for-3 with a double and a strikeout and raised his average from .118 to .124 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Utley has been mired in a season-long slump, but has hit the ball harder than his .124 average indicates. Utley will pick up the pace to some extent and have some productive baseball ahead, but owners should ignore the batting average during the process. Even if he hits .300 the rest of the season, Utley will be hard pressed to raise his average above .250.
