Clay Buchholz pitched a gem Friday, striking out 11 in eight innings, allowing only two hits and one run in a no decision against the Mariners in a 2-1 loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Clay Buchholz has to be one of the more frustrating pitchers for fantasy owners right now. It is hard to trust Buchholz as he mixes in blowups with his strong pitching performances. Owners do not know which Buchholz they are getting. Maybe this performance is the start of something good but I would be weary of starting him in his next turn against the Rangers on Wednesday.
