Jimmy Rollins bats 1-for-4 and draws a walk

Jimmy Rollins singled and walked in a 1-for-4 night as the Dodgers fell to the Giants on Tuesday night.

Fantasy Impact:

Rollins is batting .197 / .281 / .345, and there are few greater mysteries in baseball than manager Don Mattingly continuing to bat him second in the order, as the Dodgers have a whopping seven regulars with OBPs greater than .360. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect much of a rebound either, as FanGraphs projects a meager .234 / .302 / .364 for Rollins for the rest of the season. Even if Mattingly continues to bat Rollins second out of respect for the veteran former MVP, his overall playing time will face serious threats as the season continues from more productive infielders Justin Turner, Alex Guerrero, Kiki Hernandez, potential prospect call-up Corey Seager, and Cuban newcomer Hector Olivera. Fantasy owners would be wise to sell high on Rollins's name value if possible.
