Going 1-for-5 in Thursday afternoon's loss to the Detroit Tigers, Colby Rasmus belted an 11th inning double. He also tallied a pair of strikeouts to take his average on a slight dip to .244 on the season.

Skipper A.J. Hinch will have some pondering to do when it comes to left field. Colby Rasmus is the veteran contract player who has been making great strides over the season. However, should Rasmus have any kind of bad struggle any time soon, he may possibly lose out to Preston Tucker for the roster spot. For now, Rasmus is succeeding in keeping his place among the everyday lineup.
