Curtis Granderson strikes out twice

The Pirates had one of their best starting pitchers. Despite having a platoon advantage over starter Gerrit Cole, Granderson went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
Granderson has been a disappointment as the leadoff hitter for the Mets. He has a paltry .245 average and a .345 OBP. He needs to step up, or the Mets need to replace him with Lagares as the leadoff hitter. Granderson's struggles as the leadoff hitter has contributed to the Mets' offensive woes.
