Fernando Rodney pitched a solid ninth inning, allowing one hit as he earned his 13th save on the season in the Mariners 4-1 victory over the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Rodney has an ugly ERA just under 6.00 (5.89), but he has consistently racked up the saves in the Mariners bullpen. Depending on how your league operates, Rodney could possess a lot of fantasy value on his save numbers alone, but if you get hurt by high ERA and WHIP, Rodney is not the type of closer to rely on.
