Simmons was back in a comfortable spot for him, batting eighth. Seriously, he prefers and performs well batting in the lower-half of the lineup. Coach Fredi Gonzalez knows this and with the addition of 3B Juan Uribe, might be able to keep Simmons in his preferred spot.
