James Shields allowed two earned runs on six hits in six innings against the Pirates on Friday. He also walked two and struckout six in the outing.

Shields now has four straight quality starts, with two wins mixed in, making his record a sparkling 6-0 on the season. It was a no-decision this time around, but Shields continues to provide nice value for fantasy owners, though perhaps not the ace-level production some hoped for. Keep him active in all formats.
