Gio Gonzalez allows four runs, takes no-decision against Reds
by Rose Ingberman | Sun, May 31st 10:34am EDT
Gio Gonzalez was set for a pretty good outing until the sixth inning when he got hit by a pitch for the second time. He was hit just above the elbow on his left (pitching) arm, and perhaps that affected him, as he gave up a walk, two hits and two runs before he was relieved by Blake Treinen.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez (4-2, ERA 4.73) has a FIP of 3.04, which suggests his ERA will drop substantially if he limits walks and keeps his pitch count under control.
