Manny Machado goes deep twice

by James McGowan | Padres Correspondent | Sun, May 31st 11:16pm EDT

On Sunday, the Orioles lost to the Marlins 9-5 in what was a very exciting game. The games saw Manny Machado go deep twice, and score half of the Orioles runs. (Baltimore Orioles Official Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Machado has been struggling a little bit this season, he has looked like he lacked confidence at the plate the entire season. Machado has been in and out of slumps all year, but he is still hitting .270 in 185 at bats, with eight home runs, and 22 RBI. Although Machado's numbers have been up this season, his production has been down a little bit having trouble being a consistent threat at the plate. But on the bright side his defense has been good this season, and he has put up some decent numbers early in the season. Overall Machado is still a solid third baseman, and a good middle of the order bat. He would add good depth to a team that is looking for a player that can play solid defense, and can put up some production over the course of the season.
