Denard Span leaves Sunday's game with knee injury

Denard Span left Sunday’s game in the eighth inning with sore right knee. The injury is his right patella tendon that he injured in a game against the Cubs last week. (Washington Post)
Fantasy Impact:
The Nationals training staff found no structural damage and manager, Matt Williams, said he does not expect to hold Span out any considerable amount of time because of the injury. Williams said he is not concerned about the injury as one that would hold Span out for significant time.
