Yonder Alonso was activated Tuesday off the DL. He showed little rust in going 3-for-4 with 2 runs scored in the 7-2 win over the Mets. (Yahoo Sports)
Fantasy Impact:
He is a former 1st round pick who came with some solid hype. He has never broken out but his performance this season when healthy has been the best statistically of his career, albeit in limited time. His ratios will likely fall from their current lofty heights but if you are hurting at 1B or CI in a very deep league, he might be worth a stash in case of a sudden emergence of the talent that some believed he possessed coming into the league.
