Torii Hunter blasts three-run shot at Fenway

by Matt Smith | Fri, Jun 5th 11:05am EDT

Torii Hunter went 3-for-5 Thursday against the Red Sox. He hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning and scored twice in the game.

Fantasy Impact:

Hunter looks to have picked up in June where he left off in May, continuing to out perform his projections. His .282/.332/.463 slash line is more or less on par with expectations, with slugging a little higher than projected, but it seems that Hunter isn't hitting quite as many doubles and has increased his home run production. His .181 ISO is the highest since his .183 in 2010 when he hit 23 home runs for the Angels. He may be seeing the ball better or maybe just picking his spots more effectively, either way he needs to be active in fantasy lineups until he cools off.
