Carlos Ruiz knocks in run in loss to Reds

Carlos Ruiz was one of the few bright spots for the Phillies in an 11-2 loss to the Reds on Tuesday. Ruiz went 1-for-3 with an RBI, run scored and a walk. Ruiz raised his batting average to .243 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ruiz has still not hit a home run this season and has a slugging percentage of only .299. At this stage of his career, Ruiz doesn't have a huge amount of fantasy value, perhaps only as a backup catcher in most leagues.
