Jay Bruce goes 0-for-3 in win over Phillies

The Reds pounded out 11 hits in their 5-2 win over the Phillies on Wednesday. Jay Bruce was not a part of that attack, going 0-for-3 with a strikeout. He's now batting .218 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Although Bruce is on pace for 25 home runs and 81 RBI, he's struck out 55 times in 193 at-bats. His batting average and slugging percentage are significantly below his career averages. While Bruce is a good fantasy option for those that need power, he'll provide very little in other areas.
