On Thursday, the Orioles completed the sweep as the beat the Boston Red Sox 6-5. In the game Manny Machado had a solo home run, that helped them to victory.

Fantasy Impact:

The home run was Machado's tenth of the season, and his second in five games. Machado this season is hitting .274, with the 10 home runs, and 26 RBI in 59 games this season. Machado is playing to an all star level in the field, but at the plate Machado's production has been off and on this season. Though his season has been tough at the plate, he has been better as of late and is hitting more consistently. If Machado can pick it up, he will not only be helping himself and the Orioles, he would also be a player that you could consistently rely on for offense. Machado looks like he is starting to pick it up now, but how many times as he done it this season just to take a few more steps back. Before you sell your whole team for Manny Machado we will have to wait and see if he can become more consistent at the plate
