Will Middlebrooks teased us in 2012 with the way he emerged in 75 games. Some of his stats went down in 2013 though he still hit for power. Since then, he has been an injury magnet and while he has spurts where he makes us believe, the numbers tend to show a cold truth that we need to wake up to. I want to believe in him and he may break out, but if you are going to own him, you need a strong second 3B on your roster for safety.
