Freeman's ISO sits at a terrific .231 and his slash line is at .307/.376/.538 with an OPS of .907. He has managed to sustain these numbers in a weak Braves offense without protection around him.

Fantasy Impact:

He's proven this year that he doesn't need protection, at least so far. The guy is a special kind of beast. In games, it's fun to watch him make pitchers pay for their mistakes, as many try to pitch around him. He is re-writing the rules, essentially. Put him in a good offense and he'd be MVP.
