Prince Fielder continued his bid to win AL Comeback Player of the Year honors with another multi-hit effort in the Rangers 11-7 win over the Twins today. Fielder went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a RBI, and raised his average to .347. (www.mlb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Fielder had a lot of doubters coming into the season - how would he respond after surgery, is he on the downside of his career? The big fella is proving them all wrong right now, leading the league in hitting and the team with 43 RBI.
