Paul Goldschmidt passes Dee Gordon for best MLB average
by Eric Townsend | Cardinals Correspondent | Sun, Jun 14th 7:51am EDT
Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with two singles, a RBI, and a run scored against the Giants on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Goldschmidt's multi-hit game on Saturday raised his average to .355, while Dee's 1-for-4 dropped his to .353, giving Goldy the MLB average lead. Goldschmidt is the full package, hitting for a crazy average, with 17 homers and 9 steals so far this season, and he's well on his way to an MVP because of it.
