Matt Wieters continue to try and find his way

On Wednesday, the Baltimore Orioles beat the Philadelphia Phillies 6-4. The Orioles now are in perfect position for a series sweep. One of the contributors was Matt Wieters, who went 2-4 with an RBI and scored.

Fantasy Impact:

Since being activated from the DL and returning to the line-up on June 5th, Wieters has struggled to be consistent at the plate. Wieters has not been able to show any kind of real consistency, but his numbers are still pretty good. This season he is hitting .300 in 30 at bats, with 2 home runs, and eight RBI. While these numbers are ok, Wieters will look to expand as he gets more comfortable at the plate. I don't think that it is time to jump all over Wieters just yet, he still needs a really good hitting game to get his confidence back. But as of right now he would be a solid addition to a team just looking for a catcher that doesn't have to play every day.
