Patrick Sandoval did not factor into the decision after tossing 5 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and four walks while striking out five in Friday's 4-3 win over the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Sandoval was effective despite not being at his sharpest, highlighted by his season-high four walks. The lefthander struggled a bit in July but has had an under-the-radar solid season as a whole. He now boasts a 3.41 ERA with 102 strikeouts through 95 innings pitched in 2022. He will look to keep it rolling next weekend against the Twins.
