Chase Utley on DL with ankle injury

Chase Utley has been struggling offensively all season. There may be a reason why, as Chase Utley revealed an ankle he injured in the off season, has been bothering him all season long. He had an MRI in the middle of May which revealed inflammation in the bone and a a ligament that wasn't fully healed. Utley, who is hitting just .179 with four home runs and 25 RBI, has been placed on the disabled list with no timetable for his return. (CSNPhilly.com)
Fantasy Impact:
With Utley out, Cesar Hernandez will move into the starting role at second base. Hernandez has been swinging the bat well and fantasy owners should jump at the opportunity to grab him. As for Utley, only time will tell if he'll return to be productive this season.
