Max Scherzer's perfect game was broken up in the sixth inning by a Freddy Galvis double, and his shutout in the seventh by a pair of doubles, but Scherzer ended with a very good line: 8IP 5H 2ER 0BB 7K (100 pitches, Game Score 71).
Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer (9-5, ERA 1.79) was dominant for the first five innings, and came back for the eighth inning even after he was clearly tired in the seventh. You will pay a high price for the right-hander, but rarely suffer disappointment.
