Chase Anderson gives up three more HR; still gets win

by Tony Pontecorvo | Red Sox Correspondent | Mon, Jun 29th 5:29pm EDT

Chase Anderson gave up three home runs for the second consecutive start, but thanks to the Diamondbacks hitting three of their own, walked away with a "W" on Sunday against the Padres. Anderson allowed four runs total in seven innings. Outside of the three home runs, Anderson limited the Padres to three baserunners (two hits, one walk) in his seven innings.

Fantasy Impact:

The ERA isn't great for the day's work and Anderson only struck out three, but he got the win and his WHIP on the day was under 1.00. The six home runs allowed in the past two starts is a concern and in his next start, Anderson is scheduled to face the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies have handed him both his losses this season and they were two of his three worst starts-to-date.
