Chris Davis smashed his 17th and 18th home runs of the year Tuesday night as the Orioles lost to the Rangers 8-6. Davis also collected four RBI in the contest giving him 49 on the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis has been on a tear lately hitting safely in 10 consecutive games. Davis' .238 average is the highest it has been since May 13th and he's been slugging a solid .444 his last seven games. Davis is now sixth in the American League in home runs. Davis is on pace to hit close to 40 home runs and over 100 RBIs on the year. Look for Davis to continue his hot streak and raise his batting average north of .250.
