Manny Machado gets home run number 16

On Tuesday, the Baltimore Orioles lost to the Texas Rangers 8-6. The Orioles bats came alive and gave Miguel Gonzalez a lot of run support, which he couldn't capitalize on. Helping provide some offense was Manny Machado, he went 1-4 with a home run, and an RBI in the loss.

Fantasy Impact:

Machado kept his 12 game hitting streak going with the home run, and has really found his self after starting this year off very cold. His offense over the last few weeks has really improved, and he has become a key contributor to the O's resurgence of late. Machado is currently hitting .307, with 16 home runs, 44 RBI, and has an OBP of .363. After struggling at the beginning of the season Machado has found his swing in the last few weeks, and has kept up his all-star caliber defense. Machado will help any team that needs a consistent bat in their line-up, and won't hurt any teams in the field. Machado should be an all-star this season and we will see if he is, but he will look to keep his production up as the season progresses.
