He is a hard player to get a handle on. He performs like a strong medium league option when he plays, but he doesn't always start. Making it more complicated, even when he doesn't start, he has produced off the bench. If you have the time to monitor daily lineups and alter your starting spots after the Padres release that day's lineup, he is a solid option for medium league as long as you have an alternative to fall back on.
