Mets very interested in A's Ben Zobrist

The New York Mets would be willing to "overpay" in order to acquire Oakland Athletics 2B/OF Ben Zobrist, according to Joel Sherman of The New York Post. (Joel Sherman)
Fantasy Impact:
New York has been reportedly seeking a hitter to add to their lackluster lineup. Zobrist can essentially do everything in the field, as he's manned every position but catcher over his major league career. He's also solid at the plate, showing an ability to get on base at an above-average clip over the course of his career. A move to the Mets would only provide a minimal ballpark upgrade at best for Zobrist, but it could help fantasy-relevant Mets' players, including Lucas Duda and Curtis Granderson.
