James Shields has a great outing Monday

James Shields went seven innings and only gave up one unearned run. He allowed two hits, a walk and a HBP but only struck out three. Despite the great outing, Shields took a no-decision and the Padres lost 2-1.
Fantasy Impact:
James Shields is a strong pitcher that should be owned in most leagues. This game was a positive sign despite the lack of a win as he pitched much better than he had been recently. He will have some rough games during the year but he is talented and will have more good games than bad games for you
