Philadelphia Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon reiterated his desire to be traded to a contender prior to this month's trade deadline. (Todd Zolecki)
Fantasy Impact:
Papelbon is one of several high-profile Phillies' players that could be on the move before the month is over. He's been extremely effective this season, but he's also been limited by the team he's playing for. Few wins mean even fewer save opportunities. Papelbon's value would only rise once dealt to a contender, assuming he remains a closer. That would appear to be a safe assumption based on his production this season.
