Brad Brach becoming reliable option for Orioles

by Jack Keenan | Wed, Jul 8th 12:36am EDT

Brad Brach pitched two and one third scoreless innings Tuesday night in the Orioles' 8-3 loss to the Twins. Brach stopped the bleeding coming in for Kevin Gausman who had allowed eight runs before the fifth inning. Brach wasn't perfect, allowing three hits and two walks, but managed to avoid succumbing any runs. Brach retired two batters via strikeout and lowered his ERA from 3.35 to 3.16.

Fantasy Impact:

Brach has been excellent lately, only allowing two runs in his past 15 innings of work. The power is there for Brach who has recorded 48 strikeouts in nearly 43 innings of work this year. Brach is available in most fantasy leagues making him a bold and sneaky pickup if you're in need of bullpen help.
