Kenley Jansen notches another perfect save

by Eric Westlund | Red Sox Correspondent | Mon, Jul 13th 12:25am EDT

Kenley Jansen shut the door on the Brewers with a perfect ninth inning after the Dodgers scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to take a 4-3 lead. Jansen struck out two and threw 10 of 16 pitches for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

Jansen missed the Dodgers' first 34 games and has recorded 16 saves across the 56 games since then, which works out to a 46-save pace for a full season. For reference, Mark Melancon leads the Majors with 29 saves across 89 Pirates games, on pace for 53. Not only is Jansen a solid bet to lead the Majors in saves for the second half, but he is also tops among all relievers with at least 20 innings pitched in FIP and K%-BB%,
