Matt Holliday ready to return post All-Star break

Matt Holliday, who sat out the All-Star game with a quadriceps injury that’s sidelined him for the past month, is hoping to come off the disabled list and rejoin the Cardinals’ lineup when they begin the second half Friday. (NBCSports)
Fantasy Impact:
Holliday is looking forward to a return to the St. Louis Cardinals lineup on Friday. Nothing is a guarantee, but if all goes to plan, Holliday should be healthy and ready to go against the New York Mets on July 17. If active, Holliday should return to all fantasy lineups. Just keep in mind that Holliday has been out for a month, so he may have to fight off a little rust.
