Jose Altuve hits a double for the third game in a row

by Dan Schalk | Astros Correspondent | Mon, Jul 20th 9:28am EDT

Jose Altuve got one hit in five trips to the plate, smacking his 19th double on the year and his third in the last three games. The Astros pounded the Rangers 10-0 to earn the series win.

Fantasy Impact:

Altuve has gone 4-for-13 since the All-Star break, but three of those hits have been doubles as his bat is showing decent pop. With a slash line of .293/.336/.417 Altuve is looking to improve on those numbers. In 2014, Altuve batted .350 after the All-Star break with 5 HR and 32 RBI, numbers that would make Altuve the premier second baseman in MLB and fantasy leagues.
