Takes mound after DL stint

by Michael Valverde | Mon, Jul 20th 9:12pm EDT

Tim Hudson is back from the DL and the San Francisco Giants are back to winning again. After sweeping the series before the All-Star break and sweeping the series against Arizona after the break, make it six in a row for the Giants. As for Hudson (5-7, 4.68 ERA) will pitch for the first time since allowing five runs over 6 2-3 innings as he suffered an 8-6 loss to Colorado on June 26. He has been out with a strained right shoulder.

Fantasy Impact:

This will benefit Tim Hudson because he will be in Petco park. The home of the long out. This should help Hudson survive some innings, but most likely he will be on close watch especially with the strained right shoulder injury. The Giants need Hudson to eat up some innings, and if you're looking for a cheap DFS placement, he can be your guy.
