Yoenis Cespedes on the trading block

by Dustin Fairchild | Wed, Jul 22nd 2:05am EDT

Cespedes is reportedly being shopped by the Tigers according to USA Today. The Tigers are in the rare position of being sellers at the trade deadline. The non-waiver trade deadline is July 31st for the Tigers to work a deal for the talented Cuban outfielder. (USA Today)

Fantasy Impact:

Cespedes has had a really good 2015 campaign. Hitting .289 with 14 home runs and 54 RBI. He is a free agent at the end of the season, so if the Tigers aren't contending it makes perfect sense to move him. It's hard to imagine a guy with this talent being traded every season, but it appears possible. Baltimore is one of the possible suitors, which is one of the only offensive teams and, ball parks that could actually increase his fantasy value. The Angels are also rumored to have interest in Cespedes.
