Clay Buchholz receives PRP injection

Clay Buchholz (elbow) received a PRP injection from Dr. James Andrews during Wednesday's visit, which will shut him down for the time being, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports. Manager John Farrell does not believe Buchholz's season to be over, however. (Pete Abraham on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This means Buchholz's throwing program will be put on hold for now. It is hard to tell when he will come back but it sounds like he will be back this season. If you own him and have DL spots then hold onto him but he is droppable if you need roster space.
