Clay Buchholz possibly out until September

Clay Buchholz (elbow) said a timeline for his return to a mound is "five to six weeks," WEEI.com reports. The right-hander received a platelet-rich plasma injection Wednesday when Buchholz visited with Dr. James Andrews. He added that he'll start throwing a baseball again in a couple of weeks. (WEEI)

With this news it sounds like the best case scenario is Clay Buchholz will be back on the mound for the Red Sox in September. And that is if everything goes right.
